Traditions Mexico offers trips that take you comfortably beyond the ordinary in Southern Mexico. These trips range in length from one day to two weeks. Traditions Mexico is based on the experience of Eric Mindling, who has spent over ten years working with the artisans of southern Mexico. In the early 1990's he became captivated with the beauty of the people and landscape of the state of Oaxaca while spendng a college semester learning the methods of indigenous potters. In the following years an export business, Manos de Oaxaca, developed and grew, and pottery workshops were offered to share his experience. Traditions Mexico has evolved from that begining, building on a unique experience gained during a decade of traveling the backroads and getting to know the hospitable indigenous artisans of Oaxaca, Michoacán, and Chiapas. |
